Manchester United got double blow in respect of two of their top transfer targets.Spain forward Pedro decided not to move to Manchester United, and instead decided to move to Chelsea from Barcelona for £21m.
The 28-year-old has agreed a four-year deal and is the Blues' second signing in less than a week after the arrival of
Ghana defender Baba Rahman.The Spain international, is a
product of the Catalan club's academy and has scored 99 goals in 326
appearances since his debut in 2008.
He also won the World Cup and European Championship with Spain in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
The other transfer snub was from the Argentina defender Nicolas Otamendi. He decided to move to the blue side of Manchester joining Manchester City from Valencia on a five-year deal worth £32m. He was a long term defensive target of Manchester United, but they failed to complete the deal.Otamendi is City's third major summer signing following the arrival of England internationals

and
Fabian Delph.
