Ant-Man leading U.S boxoffice.

Marvel's "Ant-Man" became the 12th consecutive Marvel movie to open at first place at domestic box office. It got off to a solid start with a $58 million debut weekend. It is the second lowest debut for the Marvel Cinematic Universe behind the $55m debut of "The Incredible Hulk", a 2D film from 2008 whose debut would be around $70m adjusted for inflation.
As people might say that the movie "Ant-Man" is a flop as it has failed to gross at least $65m, which is the now general expected opening weekend gross of any Marvel movie, they need to consider that it is also one of the cheapest Marvel movie produced with a budget of just $130m for production.
The movie has opened well at the global box office for "Ant-Man" has already made $114m. Considering that it has yet to open in several large international markets, "Ant-Man‘s" box office is still on the rise.

The other new release Judd Apatow and Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck just nabbed a $30.2 million opening weekend. It is Apatow’s second biggest debut as a director (just behind the $30.69m debut of Knocked Up). It is the sixth-biggest debut for a film that he was in any way involved in as a writer/director/producer.
