Latest transfer news

In the latest transfer news, Danny Ings, the Burnley striker joined Liverpool on a free transfer. He is supposed to join Liverpool, on 1 July, subject to a successful medical. The England Under-21 international scored 11 goals in the Premier League this season, but still his heroics for a struggling Burnley team failed to save them from relegation. Ings joined Burnley from Bournemouth four years ago for £1m and scored 43 goals in 130 games for the club. He is the second summer signing for Brendan Rodgers' side after James Milner joined them last week.

The news coming from Spain is that  Barcelona have signed Sevilla defender Aleix Vidal for a reported fee of £16m - despite their transfer ban. The Spanish club was handed a 14-month ban in April after being found guilty of breaching Fifa's rules on the transfer of players aged under 18.
He will be able to play for the Champion League winners only in January 2016 when the transfer ban will be lifted. Vidal is signed as a replacement for Dani Alves, who was also brought from Sevilla. He was part of the Sevilla side which won the Europa League last month.
